Thank you donors!

On behalf of everyone at the SS Jeremiah O'Brien, we want to thank you for all of your generous gifts. Because of your generous giving we have everything we need to construct the new life rafts, replace 200 chairs and we were able to get the ship through drydock. Most important, your donations were able to keep the ship (one of the last of its kind) running and healthy for future generations to enjoy. Carl Nolte, in his Thanksgiving letter, said he was thankful for many things this year, "but most of all I am thankful for you... friends of the ship." We are all deeply appreciative.

From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you

Pictures of our maintenance in drydock and updates on our life raft construction will be available shortly, so check back with us!

Interested in donating to the ship? You may be able to double your donation if your employer has a matching corporate giving program. In many cases, retirees are also eligible for such programs. Check with your employer for details. We are a 501c(3) tax exempt organization. No goods or services are provided for your donation. However we recommend you consult your tax advisor on matters of tax deductibility.

Our federal tax identification number is 94-2506639.

SPONSORS OF THE O'BRIEN

Anyboat Marine Electronics – This year Anyboat Marine Electronics donated required electronics equipment and installation for the S.S. Jeremiah O’Brien. In 2005, New regulations required us to have onboard an Automatic Identification System (AIS). Anyboat donated a FURUNO FA-100 UAIS system. Along with this crucial piece of electronics equipment they also donated their time to complete the installation, and bring our historic vessel into the future. For this we are grateful.
