S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien

The SS Jeremiah O'Brien is the only surviving operational member of the Normandy invasion fleet and the only ship to return to Normandy in 1994 for the 50th anniversary of D-Day.

This year, on the 60th anniversary, the ship will sail on June 6th out the Golden Gate with representatives from France, Great Britain and other nations. There will be a memorial service and fly-bys by EMU INC, which will be simultaneously broadcast in France. Following the ceremony the ship will make a tour of the San Francisco Bay before returning to Fisherman's Wharf.

The public is invited aboard to sail on this 5-hour trip.

  • Tickets: $125 per person
  • Parking is Available.
  • Ship will tour the San Francisco Bay - Captain determines the exact route

Look at your schedule, mailed with your tickets for any last minute changes

  • Boarding is from 9 a.m., from Pier 45
  • Arrive back at the pier at about 3 PM
