The Salute to Veterans Cruise on May 16, 2015 is an annual tradition of the O'Brien for over 30 years, honoring the Merchant Marine and the US Navy Armed Guard.

We will begin boarding passengers from Pier 45 at 9:00am and depart at 10:00am.

Our voyage takes us out beyond the Golden Gate, then back along the San Francisco waterfront, around Alcatraz and under the new span of the Bay Bridge.

Your ticket includes complimentary continental breakfast and coffee in the morning, soft drinks and hot dog lunch and throughout the cruise, and a tour of the engine room where you can see the triple-expansion reciprocating steam engine in action.

Help memorialize the brave men and women of WWII and beyond who built, sailed and maintained Liberty Ships.

Who doesn't love lighthouses? Come sail on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien on our first ever Lighthouses of San Francisco Bay Cruise.

What makes this cruise different? We're exploring the Bay, sailing from Pier 45 and out under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Treasure Island and Angel Island. We'll be looking for the lighthouses and sites of former lights of San Francisco Bay. Expert narration provided by Wayne Wheeler, founder and president of the US Lighthouse Society. Beverages and lunch included.

Calling all passengers! Fleet Week will be setting off car alarms in the City by the Bay yet again!

We'll take a grand tour under the Golden Gate Bridge and back to sail by the visiting ships at their respective harbors.

We'll then take our position for the Air Show, where you'll get a front row seat for the spectacular performances put on by this year's participants.

Continental breakfast and coffee is available once on board. A hot dog lunch is also provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunches. Soft drinks and water are provided complimentary.
